Katibawasan Falls......in less than 15 Minutes

Arrived around 11:45 A.M in the Island of Camiguin, but thanks to my able hired driver & guide, Kuya Chris, the moment I set foot in the island I get to put EXPLORED in one of my Camiguin's bucket list.
Katibawasan Falls

Yes Katibawasan Falls!Katibawasan Falls is a waterfalls located five kilometers southeast of Mambajao at the foot of Mt. Timpoong in the island of Camiguin. It measures about 250 feet which cascades to a rock pool surrounded by ground orchids, wild ferns, trees and boulders. Ice cold water provides an ideal summer splash to bathers and picnickers. The falls tumble down into a green pool, ideal for a refreshing swim. Giant ferns decorate the surrounding land, carpeting for space with huge trees and dropping vines. Rock picnic tables, seats and cookout facilities are available for use. Considered as one of the treasured gifts nature has bestowed Camiguin, the falls is maintained by the province and visitors are expected to pay a minimal entrance fee of P15.00.

With my growling stomach, I have to have my photo taken and have to go near the pool area of the falls. Getting down the pool area, a family is having a picnic and Waaah can't help it their grilled pork makes me hungry.

In Simplicity, Sincerity is Seen (Tata & Ian's Wedding)

My bestfriend of more than 15 years invited me to her sister's wedding. I said yes right away, so we can catch-up once again, since she works in Dubai, and I get to see her once or twice a year. And this is one of those times that we get to be together.
Ian and Tata

It was a very intimate wedding and only close family & friends where there to celebrate with Tata & Ian. The reception, Bascon's Farms in Sitio Guadalupe, Carpenter, Koronadal City. What I love about the couple is the sincerity they exudes and the simplicity that of the occasion. First, the venue was at Ian's family farm and it's not your typical wedding reception, no cake cutting, wine drinking and all those wedding receptions rituals and this made the wedding unique in its most simple way.

Foodie Finds: Matutina's Seafoods

Tired, exhausted and hungry, that's what we all feel when we parked at Matutina's Seafood, along Nancayasan Highway, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan. After more than 12 hours of road trip from Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, the need for a gastronomic fill is a must, Matutina's caught our attention because of its full parking, it means something might taste good inside.

Satisfied.....

Full parking meant full resto also, thus we all have to wait for a table. And yes, it is worth the wait, truly a gastronomic experience, being a family of foodie, getting my aunts and the whole family's approval that its taste good is hard, but with Matutina's food, it comes easy.

WITHIN 24 Hours: Digos City & General Santos City

“A lawyer shall at all times uphold the integrity & dignity of the legal profession and support the Integrated Bar.” Canon 7, Chapter II, Code of Professional Responsibility

I came across this the moment I opened my Code of Professional Responsibly for Lawyers, woooh, it was a reminder worth pondering. When I attended my friend’s wedding, Atty. Rona Beceira to 2Lt. Romel Cristobal, last November 7, 2011, one of her Ninangs, also a lawyer, gave her advice to the couple, to remain faithful to each other. But what caught my attention is her saying that; “you know when lawyers fall in love, they are the most stupid person.”

Sometimes when we are in love we tend to forget what is moral. A student aspiring to be a lawyer must at the early period study and observe the duties and responsibilities of a lawyer. And kudos to my dear friend Rona that up to the time she made it to the Roll of Attorneys and to the time she signs her marriage contract she lives up to the said responsibility.

Ping, Anna & Me reunited for Rona's Wedding

Be mindful of our action, because not everything that makes us happy can be the right thing. As one, I am reminded of the great responsibility, especially in these times, that we live in a morally challenged society.

It was a day full of excitement; I attended my friend's wedding, bonded with my law school friends and ended the day with my friend's bridal shower. But more than that, I saw that true love waits and that it exists, as shown I the lives of my two friends.

Tuburan Mountain Resort

“The family has the duty to care for its elderly members but the State may also do so through just programs of social security.” Sec.4, Art.XV, Philippines Constitution.
Granny & Browie
It will be the new theme of my blog, as I travel and eat around, I will also be talking about the law.

Sometimes it is better not to plan anything, like the swimming activity I have with cousins; Maya, Deo & Ryner, my browie, Mama & Lola Auring. Yes I started this blog talking about the elderly, I found it fitting to be talking about them, most often than not with our work and other activities we tend to forget about them.
My company......
I take Lola Auring for one, for six days she will be left alone at home and on Sundays she’ll have the company of my Tito & some cousins only for a few hours. I myself get to see her during Sunday’s church service, with the long weekends I decided to bring her along in our swimming escapade.

The little moments we spent with our grandparents, I believe, are precious moments in their lives. Lola may have stayed in the cottage and can’t even see us clearly as we play around in the pool, but I know, seeing her smile as she listen to our laughter made her happy that day.
