One More Time

With the death of  Tito Ric, Sissy, Miya and Ma Net all went home to attend his funeral. And it paved way for another weekend of bonding.
FRIDAY
It starts with fetching Sissy and Miya from the airport, and we went straight to Sarangani Highlands for lunch.
We arrive past lunch time in Sarangani Highlands, so we have to settle ourselves in a not so open cottage, and wait a little longer for our orders to be served.
With browie's adventurous probing, I found him and Miya in the Our Lady of Lourdes image on the lower side of the property.
When lunch was served, I was quite disappointed with how the Pomelo-Mango and Shrimps Salad tasted. It was not as fresh tasting as the first time I had it, maybe because the Mango is too ripe. We also ordered Crispy Hito in Mango Salad, Garlic Chicken and Deep Fried Tuna Belly.

It was again a belly feast, but we have to move to do some groceries for the next day's funeral service.
SATURDAY
Busiest day for me, while I baked the night before, and cooked very early for more. I also prepared for a meeting with the TIAC board for my proposal, then proceeded to attend the funeral service.
It was an another reunion moments for the Nolasco side and the Mercado side of the family. As Christian, I see death as a birth to a new life, nothing to mourn about but something to be thankful of.
SUNDAY
After our Sunday Church service, we squeezed in another swimming and bonding session with our Nolasco relatives. And the nearest we can have it is at Yolanda Golden Resort. There is an adult pool already and it's chlorine free, the water is change everyday plus there is a continuous flowing water in the pool.
