Army Navy, Hungry as theSailor can be…..

It was a supposed birthday surprise visit to Sissy in Cebu, which ended into an adventure. And it’s a testament that nothing can stop WANDERLUST. Our General Santos City – Cebu flight was cancelled due to heavy downpour and zero visibility at General Santos City Airport. But we decided to travel a 4 hours land trip to Davao City to take the 9:00 P.M. Davao City – Cebu flight.
Upon arrival at the Mactan International Airport, we still waved through a long line of passengers at the taxi lane. So instead of surprising Sissy at their apartment, I have to text her where to eat dinner in Cebu City at almost midnight, a surprise busted because of a hungry wanderlust.
Sissy’s suggestion is to just go to I.T. Park, it got a lot of dining options. Every time I am in Cebu City, dining options must always be something that is not yet establish within the Davao-South Cotabato Region. And for this super late dinner, we chose, Army Navy.

Army Navy is something new then and not yet available in General Santos City back then, July 2013. It is a small place, which reminds me of an army barracks. The counter area got a bended drum arch, in an army green color. The interior is very simple and mobile, you can be in a big or small group, and everything can be move around.
Sissy suggested trying Army Navy’s burger, Mama Net did. While I tried the Hungry Sailor Steak Sandwich and Maya had the burrito.

It was very filling, I couldn’t even finish then whole sandwich. It taste very American, but I was elated to know that Army Navy is owned and started in the Philippines, by the same man behind Yellow Cab. Army Navy can really satisfy any amount of hunger.

 More Mai Wanders!!!
