Banana and Pomegranate

Think.Think.Think. I did not have banana and pomegranate for breakfast but I get to have them on my morning walk with Sissy.

Banana is Mr. Banana of Dole Stanfilco office here in our place. I used to pass by it everyday and I always wanted to have my photo with it. And I just did!!!!Worth blogging ba? I say yes! Because development is just around the corner for our barangay. The growing number of multi-national companies boost our barangay's economic growth. And living here is becoming very promising.

Pomegranate is a fruit bearing shrub. Because I love the chocolate coated pomegranate that Ma Nette sends, Sissy and I got so excited to see it.

Yes Tita May Mariano of Dok Mariano's Garden has two fruit bearing pomegranate. Our uber excitement made us harvest two not fully ripen fruits. HUHU

BoySSSS Overload

Four friends are popping, or shall I say 3 just popped to date. BoySSSS overload for our batch as four mommies are all having baby boys. It was a quick plan for a baby shower and we all decided to just have a potluck and we ended up having too many food especially desserts.

Ice gems

Soon to be bride Tina took the time to create a give-away of ice gems, that we used to love during elementary years. Our color coding for the baby shower, moms to be will wear blue and titas to be will wear red. The baby shower has been a great time to once again bond with friends despite our busy schedules.

Villa Edna Farm (VEFAR)

After our Ranyag outreach in Purok 14-A, Mama treated us to a tilapia fishing and tilapia boodle fight lunch at VEFAR. Villa Edna Farm or VEFAR is a Tilapia Farm located in Sitio Tucalabong, Brgy. Crossing Rubber, Tupi, South Cotabato.
Our VEFAR experience is both fun and educational. We come without prior reservation but the owner, Hermie Claudio, welcomed us and toured us around their tilapia farm.

The best part is the boodle fight tilapia lunch, they cooked us rice and provided us with charcoal for grilling. The owner is so accommodating and friendly that we felt "hiya" knowing that our visit is unexpected.

VEFAR sells sex reversed tilapia fingerlings and live tilapia ranging from 300 grams up. VEFAR is also my supplier of tilapia for Aurora's Kitchen. Tupi is blessed to have mobile live tilapia seller. VEFAR sells live tilapia around Tupi with their VEFAR van.

Ranyag's Last Hurray with Pastor Liza

It was Ranyag's last adventure with Pastor Liza as our Church pastor last May 2014. It was a joint activity with Tupi UCCP and CYF Council. We had the outreach activity at Purok 14-A, Poblacion, Tupi, particularly along the "sapa." A small stream that runs along the side of Tupi Central School.

It was my first time to visit the place and I was so surprised to see about 50 houses or "barong-barong" along the bank of the stream. And the first thing me and Sissy observed is the number of children in the area.

The activity inspires me a lot to value and be grateful of the blessings I have from God. And most of all I got inspired to work harder and be a channel of blessings to others. I pray that may the little time we spent with them and the words shared to them stays on.

Ranyag's activity is a day after our Davao Oriental trip.

A Stop at 3Doe Foodhauz in Malandag, Malungon, Sarangani Province

After our S&R shopping, we're back on the road. Stopped in Digos City, I bought plane table top for additional tables in Aurora's Kitchen. Then back on the road until Papa want's to have his much needed coffee break.

3 Doe is the place, located along National Highway in Malandag, Malungon. It has always been our coffee stop place, every time we travel to Davao City. Aside from the usual instant coffee, they also sell  goats milk from their goat farm, siomai and sweet corn. But during our stop their goat's milk is not available.

S&R Lunch

By 11:30 A.M. I am falling in line to order our much needed lunch at S&R. Why S&R? To save us time before heading back home to Tupi, South Cotabato.

S&R is my to go to place for my baking ingredients. And but of course my Sissy loves their PIZZZZA that is why.....Lunch is a quarter of Roasted Chicken for the big guys, while we girls opted for a much healthier Green Salad .....and Pizza .....and New York Cheesecake.HAHAHA
