Bo's Coffee, SM General Santos City

I cannot end my day with just a cup of coffee. After an hour of following Browie around SM Toy Kingdom, my legs call for a rest and I call for my 2nd cup of coffee for the day.
Bo's Coffee is located at the Ground Floor of SM City. I ordered Drip Coffee for Php 105.00 while Miya had Iced Blended Nutty Peppermint for Php 175.00. While paying I saw Theo & Philo chocolates, I been dying to try it, we tried their Milk Chocolate Adobo and Peppercorn.

Theo and Philo is something we Filipinos can be proud of because it is a product that is "By the Philippines, Of the Philippines, For the Philippines."

But aside from chocolate my two foodie buddies keep looking at the Green Tea Cheesecake, and being an overly sensitive Sistah to my drooling sibs, I ordered a slice for Php195.00. And the rest is just a flash of Green Tea Cheesecake slice.

A day spent with people we love is the best!

Mooon Cafe, KCC Veranza General Santos City

It is examination day and it is a foodie day for me, Browie and Miya Bird. From Koronadal City we took YBL Non-Stop Aircon bus, regular fare is Php 95.00 and for student it is Php85.00.
We got to Veranza around lunch and my choice Mooon Cafe. We went Mexican with our choices. Starting with; Chimichanga for Php115.00, Browie had Mexican Baby Back Ribs for Php240.00, Miya had Chicken Mozarelle Melt Php180.00and I had Mooon Steak for Php185.00. We also ordered a pitcher of Sun Cooler for Php115.00 and a glass of Mango Shake for Php60.00.

Mooon Cafe stays true to its Mexican theme, from its interior to their waiters wearing flamingo skirts. Lunch is both exciting and filling. Their Mexican Baby Back Ribs is sooo big that we have to help Browie with it. Chimichanga is something new to my palette but I love the subtle mix of spices.

We did enjoy another examination day lunch.

Jelly Tea, KCC Koronadal City

Jelly Tea is one of the new additions to a number of food stands in the Ground Floor of KCC Koronadal. Being a milk tea lover, me and Browie has to get a taste of Jelly Tea’s milk tea variants.

We had Okinawa which made us have another cup on our next grocery escapade.

Puting Bato, Calumpang your gateway to Balut Island

That weird feeling, and for the first time I felt it, I decide not to push with my Balut Island trip. I spent the whole night  at Puting Bato, Calumpang, General Santos City waiting for M/L Sabhan to leave for Balut Island, but around 4:00 A.M. I made the decision not to go.
Puting Bato is one of the two pier for "lantsa" and boats going to Balut Island. From Polytechnic Junction we took a Tambler jeepney, got down at PenBank Calumpang, took a tricycle going to Puting Bato.

Breads for baon on the 8 hours boat ride

Cargoes to be loaded

At 4:00 A.M. Maya and I braved our way through Puting Bato to the National Highway to wait for tricycle to go to General Santos city center. Before heading home, we had a super early breakfast at McDonalds National Highway.

The ultimate star of our lunch is their Sweet Pineapple Juice, fresh and sweet, a must try when visiting Club Kalsangi.

After our lunch Tita Babes invited us to her house for some dessert and coffee. She prepared a Choco Moist Cake from Clubhouse Kalsangi for us.
