Antique: "Bukid Life" and Kawa Bath in Tibiao

Our recent trip is a never ending na liguan. Tibiao for a time has been synonymous to Tibiao bakery until pictures of people inside a flaming cauldron flocked the social media. A visit to Tibiao now means a visit and bath inside the big "kawa."

Just before dark, the cousin of the owner prepared our "kawa" that can accommodate 4 people. He heated the water and put "agdao" leaves in it.
We stayed at Kayak Inn in a small hut with toilet and bath.
If you are staying for a night you can buy at the town proper and just ask Ate Sheila to prepare it for you. For dinner we had grilled pork liempo and scramble egg for breakfast, all easy and fast to prepare food.

Our stay in Kayak Inn brought back memories of "bukid life," its simplicity and the value of evening conversation with the family before sleeping. It was a fun experience sleeping in one big sleeping foam, laughing with my siblings and listening to the different sounds around.
We woke up early the next day to prepare for another long trip that would pass through the provinces of Aklan and Capiz.
