RBAI's Christmas Party at Herds Pine Resort

It's another year of blessings and thanksgiving for RBAI! With the many challenges that the bank was able to surpassed this 2015, it is just right to celebrate it with our families and employees.
Herds Pine Resort is a newly opened resort located in Brgy. Pagalungan, Polomolok, South Cotabato. Me and Papa went to the venue right after the bank's BOD meeting. So I get to explore the resort just as the dusk creeps in. Situated along the creek with a backdrop of pineapple plantation, made the place rustic and country.
During the party, with the "United Nation" theme, employees and some stockholders paraded the national costumes of the country they have chosen. While me and Mama joined in the stockholders' Christmas presentation, that got our group 6K prize for the effort we made, haha!

Mai Finds: Cocio Dark Chocolate Milk

Cocio Dark Chocolate Drink, caught my attention during one of my grocery time. I bought to bottles, for Php 62.50 per bottle. When I got home, I tried it right away, wow, it's real dark chocolate. It tastes close to our tablea, making it the real chocolate.
According to Mr. Google; "Cocio is a chocolate milk drink produced in EsbjergDenmark. While not a staple in Danish culture, Cocio is a well-known product to Danes, often consumed on the street with a sausage (mostly a hot dog)."
Well I haven't tried pairing it with suasage yet, but it has been a blast to my little Browie's taste. Grocery time is Cocio time for him.
It is quite on the expensive side compared to our local chocolate drinks we are used to, but knowing that it is UTZ certified, made it worthy of the price we pay.
Growing up in a family of farmers, UTZ certification provides a better future to our farmer. Cocio may not be Philippine made but it can help farmers in a global scale.

Koronadal City: Balolong Pandesal

Pandesal, is a Spanish word pan de sal that means "salt bread." It is Filipino's favorite breakfast, best partnered with hot native coffee. I grew up waiting for "Manong Pandesal" biking around our barangay at dawn, while calling out "pandesot."
Through the years, changes came and a "manong pandesal" was gone. For us to get a hot pandesal these days, we have to go to the mall to buy one. But a new pandesal craze has arrived Koronadal City, Balolong Pandesal.

Balolong Pandesal is located in a discreet corner of SMRAA. What made want to share it to others? It taste great and worth more that it's Php 2.00 price. I first got a taste of it when Ate Nene brought home a supot of its original and garlic pandesal. The bread is tasty and compact, now a days most pandesals are so airy, that you don't get full even after 10 pieces. But with Balolong Pandesal, a piece or two is enough to get me full.
Balolong Pandesal is located in SMRAA Complex, beside the Boy Scout Office, Alunan Avenue, Koronadal City.

Catching Up with Miya

It's been a while since the last time I got to talk and catch up with Miya. Finally I get to have a day with her, our Miya Bird, my second sister, my travel & food buddy, my photographer and most of all someone I look up to when it comes to serving God.
A lot have change, we all grow up and became the person we want to be, but being an ATE will forever be a role I will lovingly take. As I spend a day with her, I am an Ate who is willing to listen and will always be ready to support her dreams and aspirations.
After a few hours of window shopping, we decided to have our lunch at Max's Restaurant. We had; Halo-Halo, Half Spring Chicken and Tapa Meal. Miya loves the Tapa Meal, the tapa was so tender with a hint of sweetness in it.
We ended our day with our shared passion, READING. Spend an hour inside  National Book Store, looking for books is so relaxing and fun.

Anna Just Got Married

Middles Wed. Yup its Anna and Harry's wedding last Wednesday, December 9, 2015. And I feel so blessed to be able to witness the love that exudes from them.
I met Harry a day before their wedding, and in that very short ride to Veranza, I just know that Anna finally found the one. The one who will love and take care of her. The who will never break her heart.
I attended with Ping, but with our busy schedules, we were only able to attend the wedding ceremony at Padre Pio Chapel, Las Villas, City Heights, General Santos City.

General Santos City: J. Co Donuts & Coffee

J. Co Donut & Coffee is our pit stop for our Christmas shopping. J. Co is J. Co, no further discussion as to how it taste or what taste better, for now J. Co is the only donut place to go besides Dunkin Donut and Mister Donut.
We had; Hot J.Coccino &Oreo Frappe with its free Glazzy Donut.

J. Co Donut & Coffee is located at the Ground Floor of Veranza Mall, General Santos City.

General Santos City: Chikaan Restaurant

It’s the season to be merry! Christmas is just around the corner. It is the perfect day to spend with family, this time with Mama & Browie.
Chikaan Restaurant is one of the restaurants to choose from in Veranza Mall, General Santos City. For lunch, we had; Baked Scallops, Calamares, Clam Soup, Grilled Blue Marlin, Citrus Quencher and Plain Rice.

It’s the Citrus Quencher that made an impression for us, it’s the best way to quench your thirst, citrusy and very cooling, especially with the heat index that General Santos City had been hitting for the past days.

We were so full after, that we had a blast shopping for Browie’s Christmas party outfit. Hmmm, can’t wait to style our little buddy, he just got his own style. He knows the kind of outfit that would suit him best.
Chikaan Restaurant is located at the 2nd Floor of Veranza Mall, General Santos City.
