Koronadal City: Potato Madness

When Browie tells you that there is something new to try in KCC Marbel. The next grocery trip means trying it. Potato Madness is the newest food cart to open in the grocery area of KCC Mall of Marbel. It has an assortment of flavors and mixes of dips for the one and only, potato fries. Though we try to eat healthy lately, trying something new gives us new ideas on how to cook food.
We didn't have lunch after doing my grocery, so we went for a take out; Meat Balls Potato Fries and Cheesy Bacon Fries. When we got to the bus terminal, Browie ate his Cheesy Bacon and with its big servings we could not finish it. So we were able to share it with Mama, Papa and Ate Nene. The Meat Balls Potato Fries, is something I would go for again, because of the chunky tomatoes and the herds that go with its sauce.

Sea Glass

Sea glass is something new for me, until I read about it in my daily devotional. I started searching about it. In other countries there are collectors who took time to visit famous sea glass beaches. Here in the Philippines, a number of jewelry designer incorporate sea glasses on their creations.
What is a sea glass? Naturally produced sea glass ("genuine sea glass") originates as pieces of glass from broken bottles, broken tableware, or even shipwrecks, which are rolled and tumbled in the ocean for years until all of their edges are rounded off, and the slickness of the glass has been worn to a frosted appearance.(source: Wikipedia)
Browie's birthday became a chance for me to try looking for sea glass. I did found three pieces, the white one shows a frosted appearance, while the colored ones were not as frosted as the white one. The green and brown sea glasses have rounded and smoother edges, that indicates it has rolled and tumbled in the sea for a time as well.

Browie's 10th Birthday

He is a decade old now, but he will forever be our little baby Browie. For this year,  he again asked Mama & Papa for a beach birthday. All he want is to play and swim all night. It was raining hard all night, but Browie still enjoyed his birthday with the son of Papa's farm help and two of my Aurora's Kitchen angels. Browie's birthday always remind me of how to be grounded. He never asked to invite his classmates but chose to have kids from our farm and our farm workers.
Browie's birthday celebration started right after picking him from school, after his periodic examination. I bought him two cakes from Red Ribbon; a mango cake and caramel cake. When we got home, he asked Ate Nene to put an apple on his lechon and blew his cake. I also made a jelly with sea critters gummy.
We had Browie's beach party at Susan's Beach, Tinoto, Maasim. After a whole night of rain, we were greeted with a foggy beach. Things start to get exciting when fishing boats came bringing with them tons of yellow fin tuna to be delivered to General Santos City Fishport.
I get to walked and looked for sea glasses, I first learned about it when I read it in my daily devotional. I found a green, brown and white, the most common of the sea glass colors.
